Aurora Australis Box is an Educational tool designed to teach users the scientific explanation behind the phenomenon of the Aurora Australis. Opening the box requires five steps. Each step takes the user through a series of events, starting with an explosion on the sun and ending with millions of particles entering the earths atmosphere. The inside and outside of the box are covered with graphics and text. There are questions on each panel that quiz users along the way. Inside the box there are cards, flipbooks, magnets and elastics for further interaction. Completely unfolded, the box becomes flat, making it easy to manage and easy to reassemble.
