This is a dance party where people are dancing according to instructions 
they receive on there cell phones.  With the use of SMS/Texting capabilities 
I will send text messages to groups of people on the dance floor over a period 
of time.  The people I text will perform the instruction sent to their phone 
the moment they receive it.  Not all the participants will have the same 
instructions.  Some will be interacting with one another and some will be 
dancing individually.  This will be a public venue so those participating will 
be scattered among non participants.    

My goal is to change the physical space without changing the mood or the activity 
going on. I will try to initiate a dance party where the moves of the dancers are 
predetermined by me.  The reaction of the other people dancing is a 
factor which might alter some details of the project.  I am curious to see if 
people mimic the moves of the participants or if they acknowledge it at all.
